The project will be co-financed from LIDA administered Norwegian Financial Mechanism Programme "Innovation in "green" producing area". Project identification No. NOFI/LV06/NAGS/03/31, LIDA contract No. NP-2015/32.

P4L-660 red phosphor has been developed and successfully tested for the following parameters: Peak Wavelength - 660 nm, CIE X value - 0.690, Particle size - D50 12-18 um. It appeared to be unique red phosphor without any similiar products and a potential to become of great interest to LED manufacturers, who have not used red phosphor before. The price of P4L-660 is quite attractive and competitive comparing with other red phosphor available on the market.

This is first type of yellow phosphor in "LED Chemicals" product line. Furthermore, every 1-2 month will be dedicated to development of new type of phosphor in the following sequence: yellow, orange, green and red. After company will develop a line of its own 10 products, new products will be developed exclusively upon customers' individual requests.

Basing on expertise of team members and market research a decision of phosphor development and production was made. It is planned to analyse phosphors available on the market within a year, develop own phosphor solutions, which should have better characteristics and competitive prices compared with those offered in the market. Within 2 years it is planned to develop 10 different types of phosphor including yellow, orange, green, and red ones. After that "LED Chemicals" planned to work with customers individually, offering them phosphors or their compositions upon individual requests.
